New Beginnings

So it seems this day and age that starting a blog when you become a mommy is a rite of passage. Since Ben and I are starting a family, I guess it's time I start keeping people up-to-date on preparations for little Nate's debut in March. I think Ben thought I was joking when I told him I was starting a blog, so I am going to have to keep this up to avoid comments from him. I don't know how humorous or interesting my entries will be, but I hope this will be a good way for our friends and family, especially those out of town, to be involved in the many changes our family is about to encounter. Gracie and Murphy (especially Murphy) are both in for a rude awakening come March. We are trying to prepare them now for what is to come, but there is no way they will grasp it until we bring the little bundle of attention home. Please start praying now that Ben and I will keep our sanity amongst the chaos! I will probably not post very often until the big day (March 31st) is near. I will try to post periodic pics of the nursery as it progresses along with other pics that may be of interest (there may even be a preggie belly pic thrown in since for some strange reason everyone is always interested in those!) And some mommy advice along the way is always welcome since I have never done this before!  :)
